The TST-TPSE combi sensor transmitters series is designed for parallel and independent measured value acquisition of pressure and temperature at only one measuring point. For this purpose, the process connection of the proven TIVAL pressure transmitter was additionally equipped with an external stainless steel temperature probe. The length of the temperature probe can be chosen variable, the diameter is 2 mm.
The fully welded, dry stainless steel pressure cell is available for measuring ranges from 0 ... +4 bar to 0 ... +600 bar. The combination sensor is designed for permanent media temperatures of -40 ... + 125 °C. Up to 15 minutes duration a media temperature of -50 ... +200 °C is permissible.
The temperature measuring range can be configured as required within the admissible medium temperature of -40 ... + 125 °C, eg. a measuring range of -50 .... +75 °C.

The measured pressure and temperature values ​​are output as 4 ... 20 mA analog signal. The pressure value can also be executed as 0 ... 10 V DC analogue output. The sensor design with an external temperature sensor enables fast reaktion ans setting times for the measured temperature value of 10 ... 20 seconds, but influences the volume flow of the measuring medium.

The TST-TPSE combination sensor is particularly suitable for thermally dynamic processes in which pressure and temperature are to be measured simultaneously in extremely tight spaces. Since only one mounting position has to be provided for both measured values, it is possible to engineer smaller and more compact and significantly reduce installation and cabling costs.
